We are seeking to hire a Project Architect:

PROJECT ARCHITECT 
At Rogers McCagg Architects, Planners, and Interior Designers, we focus on client – specific, classic, timeless solutions for complex design issues. No challenge is too great for our dedicated, creative, and innovative team of professionals.

We are looking to add to our team a Project Architect with three key values: Collaboration, Commitment & Professionalism. The ideal candidate will be and have the following abilities:

  • Registered Architect (required).
  • Shall have a minimum of 8 to 10 years’ firm experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit and ability to document / manage complex architectural projects. Ability to function as a BIM manager for same.
  • Proficiency in construction detailing for wood and metal frame structures.
  • Ability to develop concise construction documents, provide technical detailing, red-line corrections and direction to project support staff.
  • Ability to collaborate and manage a project team including all disciplines during the design development, construction document, and construction administration phases of a project.
  • Have a profound design sense with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in municipality/agency approvals process and code compliance.
  • In depth project knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with the design team, contractors, and subs.
  • On site construction experience monitoring construction progress and ensuring compliance with contract documents.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD project documentation is preferred but not required.
